Why I Started 1LR
I didn’t start 1LR to build a brand. I started it because I needed a reminder. A reminder to stop coasting. A reminder to stop negotiating with myself. A reminder that the gap between “good enough” and “who I said I’d be” is usually one more rep, one more sprint, one more honest effort.
One Last Run. Not dramatic. Not heroic. Most people quit early. I did too. And I got tired of it.
So I made something that would stare me in the face and call me out. Something that didn’t care about excuses, moods, or comfort. Something that said, “Do what you said you were going to do.”
That turned into 1LR. The Mindset that has guided my life since.
It’s not clothing. It’s not merch. It’s a standard. A simple one: finish the work.
If that hits you, you’re in the right place.
